22-09 HS Youth Pre-apprenticeship to College Apprenticeship Pathway Expansion Pilot

Provisional Accelerated Learning Academy will provide Work Based Learning (WBL) opportunities for students by developing a pre apprenticeship and apprenticeship pilot program. This improvement project will help to develop capstone courses and youth apprenticeships to graduate students with marketable skills. The career and college connected youth apprenticeship model we propose will feature High School Juniors and Seniors committed to high school CTE courses, Community College Pathway including articulated classes with dual enrollment. Students will participate in a work-based pre- apprenticeship training in the Junior or Senior year beginning work as an apprentice, earn a high school diploma, relevant industry certifications and/or a community college certificate and/or associates degree.
