We are the Inland Empire/Desert Regional Consortium
The Inland Empire/Desert Regional Consortium (IEDRC) serves as a regional hub, supporting the advancement of career education and workforce development across Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
IEDRC brings together partners from the region’s 12 community colleges and 56 K-12 districts for collaboration, peer learning, and strategic initiatives that strengthen the regional economy and prepare students for in-demand careers.
Nine community college districts that are home to 12 community colleges comprise the Inland Empire/Desert Regional Consortium, which serves a geographic region that includes two county offices of education, 56 public school districts, and four regional occupational centers/programs.
IEDRC is focused on expanding and enhancing regional workforce training models that prioritize equity, access, and inclusion for all learners, while encouraging sustained and meaningful participation by employers. The ultimate goal is to deliver a coordinated and impactful regional approach to workforce education and training.
Funded by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, IEDRC operates in alignment with the statewide vision for equity in access, equity in success, and equity in support.
