Governance

The IEDRC governance model establishes a structured framework of authority, roles, and responsibilities designed to guide regional career education and workforce efforts. At its core,  the CEO group, composed of community college presidents and district chancellors, supports the consortium’s strategic direction and provides oversight and guidance to improve the success of student education and employment outcomes in the region. Four additional committees ensure stakeholder voices are integrated and consensus-driven planning is achieved:

• Executive Committee
• K12 Strong Workforce Program Selection Committee
• CTE Deans Committee
• Not-For-Credit Training Committee

 A clearly defined proposal and appeals process further reinforces transparency, equitable representation, and accountability across all governance entities.
