No equipment or supplies were purchased during this quarter for our Mechatronics project. However, we finally hired a Lab Tech expert to help facilitate the deployment of the Industrial trainer as well as the Flexible manufacturing trainer that were bought previously with the allotted SWP funds for this project. The Lab tech with extensive experience in Programmable Logic Control and Mechatronics was hired to support the deployment, maintenance of the equipment as well as the enhancement and support of our Mechatronics program as specified in the project. His salary is being funded from the SWP funding for this regional Project.
