The Economic & Workforce Development Program is currently seeking nominations for the Exemplary Innovation Award. The award will bring statewide and professional recognition to colleges and their partners for outstanding projects that promote entrepreneurship and innovation within the community colleges. All submissions should demonstrate significant contributions to the field of economic and workforce development through the community colleges.
The Exemplary Innovation Award will be presented at the CCCEWD/CALED Joint 2009 Annual Conference being held April 15-17, 2009 at the Portola Hotel and Monterey Conference Center, Monterey, CA. The award presentation will be on April 16, during the CCCEWD Awards Luncheon.

What types of projects should be submitted? |

How should the project be highlighted on the Nomination Form? |
The entry must demonstrate strong innovative/responsive contributions to economic and workforce development within a region or statewide. Submissions will highlight a highly innovative, inspiring and unique project that addressed a specific need within the business community. The project should be transferable and replicable at other sites within the State . |
