Call for presentations & awards information

Have you or some of the outstanding colleagues you work with recently developed a new "system" or "partnership" for your college that has accomplished one or more of the following?

• Improved student success
• Strengthened programs
• Reduced costs                                                            
• Increased productivity
• Improved effectiveness
• Streamlined processes
• Eliminated antiquated processes
• Reduced redundancy
• Improved communications
• Implemented technology to support student learning
• Created other systems or partnerships that have contributed to student's and/or the college's overall success

If the answer is YES to one or more of the above, I encourage you to submit a "Conference Proposal" for the Spring 2010 CCCAOE/CCCCIO Joint Conference, which will be held at the Hilton Hotel~Financial District, San Francisco, March 17-19. Due date for submission of proposals is December 18, 2009.

Now would be a great time for you to register for this CA Community College Association for Occupational Education (CCCAOE)& CA Community College Chief Instructional Officers (CCCCIO) Joint Conference and make your hotel reservation!  Early registration is $395. Remember this is great use of CTE and Collaboration grant funds!

2010 CCCAOE EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Surely one of your colleagues or business partners is worthy of being recognized for their excellent work that benefits your students, college, and community. Now is the perfect time to acknowledge that person or partnership and their work by nominating him/her/them. Each spring CCCAOE accepts nominations for

 

Excellence in Teaching
Excellence in Leadership
Excellence in Partnership

 
In keeping with tradition, the awards will be presented at the spring conference in March and is a special part of the Opening Session of the conference. Forms to complete for nominating a person or partnership for a CCCAOE Excellence Award are available by clicking here.

Deadline for award nominations is December 11.
