Home to nearly 4.7 million people, the region is racially and ethnically diverse, with over half its residents in the working-age group. Recognizing the vast and varied needs of this region, the IEDRC uses targeted, data-informed strategies in collaboration with education, workforce, and community partners to prepare residents for high-demand, well-paid careers and foster a thriving economy.
